Beat the Blues: Cardio Drumming

What:
Move your body, lift your mood, and have some fun! Inclusive program combines rhythm, movement, and music to boost both mental and physical wellbeing. Using yoga balls and drumsticks, participants drum along to upbeat, familiar songs in a way that gets the heart pumping and the spirits soaring.
Program Goals:
- Enhance Mental Wellbeing:
Promote mood improvement and stress reduction through rhythmic movement and music engagement. - Encourage Physical Activity:
Provide an enjoyable, low-impact cardio workout suitable for all fitness levels. - Build Social Connection:
Foster community and belonging through group participation and shared rhythm. - Increase Mind-Body Awareness:
Help participants connect movement, coordination, and focus in a supportive environment.
Activities:
Warm-up, Rhythmic drumming sessions, cool down, connection moment.
