At BQWCHC, our work is based on five important pillars
Team-Based Care
We have staff with many different skills who work together in integrated teams to understand your health and wellness needs, support your objectives, and ensure continuity in your care.
Inclusive Care
Everyone is welcome at BQWCHC, including people who are experiencing homelessness, living on a low income, are 2SLGBTQ+, Indigenous, Black, or living with mental health challenges, substance use or a disability.
Safe Space
Creating a truly safe space requires everyone’s engagement. We are respectful and offer a safe space for the people and communities we serve, and we also ask you to be respectful of our staff and other visitors. We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful or threatening behaviour.
Strengths-Based and Here To Help
We know everyone has challenges, but we also know that everyone has strengths! Don’t hesitate to let us know your challenges so we can help. But also, let us know your strengths and whether you can share them to improve our CHC and community.
Sociodemographic Information
When you become a client of BQWCHC, you will be asked about your level of education, income, race, gender identity and other information. This information helps us understand who our clients are and if we are serving everyone equitably.
