It is easy to take our lungs for granted when we don’t have a cough or infection. But across our region, there is a high incidence of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)—a serious lung condition and health concern. Our Lung Health program provides assessment, diagnosis, education, treatment and support for people living with COPD or at risk of developing it, as well as their family members and caregivers.
If you have COPD, our Better Breathers program offers monthly meetings hosted by healthcare professionals who provide helpful information about managing your condition. You can ask questions, connect with others living with COPD and learn from one another.
