Health Prevention Outreach

Regular screening/testing for common health issues can help you prevent disease or catch it early. BQWCHC’s trained Prevention Outreach Worker is available to talk to you about your preventive care.

We look at a range of factors that can affect your health, such as housing, income, food security, diet and exercise and help you identify screenings that will help to maintain your physical, mental and social health. These conversations include education, understanding risks, working together to create a personalized preventive care plan for you, and facilitating access to cancer screening.
